Fall 2020 | 32 Enhancements Filling Logic The 340B flags must be checked in the following areas for a prescription to be considered 340B and perform the 340B Sliding Scale Pricing Compare: • Patient Record > Additional Information • Prescriber Record > Additional Information • Drug Record > Additional Information • Price Plan > Parameter Options Note : If the Dispensing Drug is a Compound, ignore all flags and do not perform the 340B comparison. Compounds are not considered to be 340B even if all or one ingredient in the compound has the 340B box checked. Transaction • Added SS Group field to Transaction > General Information . Displays if a group is selected from the 340B Sliding Scale Pricing field on the Patient Record. • Added *SS Amt field to Transaction > General Information > Billing Recap . The amount is calculated using the Price Table attached to the SS Group attached to the Patient Record at the time of fill. Note: The following needs to be populated for the field to display: Patient is flagged as 340B, Patient is flagged as 340B Sliding Scale (SS) Pricing, Drug is flagged as 340B, Dispensing Drug is not a compound, Doctor is flagged as 340B, Price Plan is flagged as 340B, Transaction SS Group is populated, and *SS Amt is populated and > 0.00.
