Fall 2020 | 28 Enhancements Serial Number Some states (e.g., California) will be expanding the Serial Number to include Rxs for Class 3 and Class 4 medications, so Rxs for those classes will have refills authorized. • Changed Class II Serial Number to Serial Number in the following areas:  Rx Summary > Additional Information  Store Control > Store Level Options > Store Options > Rx Filling > Rx Legal Requirements (link) • On Rx Legal Requirements, added a Serial Number Required checkbox, under each class. • Added functionality to display the Rx Message, “Cannot Fill - Serial Number is required on Additional screen,” on the Rx Summary if Serial Number Required is selected under Store Control > Store Level Options > Rx Filling > Legal Requirements (link). • Added the Serial Number field to the Transaction. Field populates at the time of fill from the entry on the Rx Summary. If the Serial Number is changed after a Transaction has already been processed, the Transaction can be updated and resubmitted, if needed, for PMP submission. • Added Rx - Serial Number to the Transaction File as a Select, Sort, and Print Option in Reports. 19.1.33 NRx
